As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will drive our security posture forward, ensuring compliance with industry standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2, while enjoying the flexibility of a remote-first culture.
Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Incident Management: Lead the investigation, containment, and eradication of security breaches and malware incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability scans to proactively identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all technical controls align with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
- Remote Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, IT) to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with security tools such as FireEye, Darktrace, or CrowdStrike; experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Remote Work: Proven ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote environment with high autonomy.
