Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security monitoring solutions for cloud/on-premises environments
- Lead incident response for complex cyber threats, including ransomware and APT attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, and SIEM tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on SIEM (Splunk/Sentinel) experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or OSCP preferred
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and security automation
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with self-discipline
