Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity strategies to protect organizational data and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify potential threats.
- Manage incident response plans and lead forensic investigations for security breaches or cyber attacks.
- Monitor security systems 24/7 to detect anomalies and respond to threats in real-time.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations including SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Train staff on security awareness and phishing prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certification is highly preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH.
- Strong knowledge of network security architecture, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
