Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and logs 24/7 during night shifts to detect potential threats.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, malware outbreaks, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and perform penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Analyze security data trends and generate reports to improve threat detection strategies.
- Collaborate with the 24/7 IT support team to patch vulnerabilities and secure network boundaries.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry standards (NIST, ISO).
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Proven experience working in Night Shift or 24/7 operational environments.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CCNA Security are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during off-hours.
