Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Conduct 24/7 threat hunting and vulnerability assessments during night shifts.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, breaches, and anomalies immediately.
- Enforce security policies and perform access reviews for privileged accounts.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to document findings and escalate critical issues.
- Run regular penetration testing and security audits to ensure system integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC operations, or Network Security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight) and EDR tools.
- Must be available and willing to work the Night Shift schedule (e.g., 6 PM - 6 AM).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
