Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Conduct triage and incident response for critical security breaches and anomalies.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and manage patch management cycles.
- Enforce security policies and conduct security audits to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards.
- Analyze threat intelligence reports and recommend proactive countermeasures.
- Document incident reports, trends, and metrics for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH required.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
