As an Entry Level Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of innovation, working alongside senior developers and quantitative analysts to build robust trading infrastructure that powers the global market.
Responsibilities
- Develop & Optimize: Design, code, and test high-performance software components for our proprietary options trading engine.
- Low-Latency Systems: Work on reducing system latency to ensure real-time data processing and order execution.
- Data Modeling: Assist in building and maintaining complex data models for equity options pricing and market analytics.
- Collaboration: Partner with quants and traders to translate financial models into executable code.
- Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in a live trading environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Research and implement new technologies to enhance system stability and throughput.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Java; familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
- Interest in Finance: Demonstrated interest or coursework in financial markets, options, or derivatives is a major plus.
- Problem Solving: Ability to break down complex problems and implement efficient solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision required for financial applications.
