Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents during night operations.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Compliance: Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST).
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and development teams to patch vulnerabilities and improve system resilience.
- Reporting: Generate detailed incident reports and security dashboards for leadership review.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC Analysis, or Network Security.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, GCIH, or similar is required.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Tools: Experience with Python or Bash scripting is a plus.
