Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during overnight shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven protocols
- Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems and network traffic
- Collaborate with global teams during incident escalation and remediation
- Document security events and generate comprehensive incident reports
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing during maintenance windows
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in SOC/night shift environments
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and forensic tools
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and zero-trust architecture
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Experience with threat intelligence feeds and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Clearable background check and US citizenship or permanent residency
