Responsibilities
- Monitor 24/7 security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents in real-time
- Conduct advanced threat hunting using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and document detailed incident reports
- Implement and maintain security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities
- Stay current with emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence initiatives
- Train junior analysts on incident response procedures
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and cloud architecture
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- Excellent written communication for incident reporting
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7PM-7AM)
