Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and analyze security alerts to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Manage and respond to security incidents, ensuring business continuity and minimal downtime.
- Enforce compliance with internal policies and external regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Document security protocols, incident reports, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-conversion security strategies.
