We are seeking an exceptional Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations center in the heart of New York City. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) in real-time.
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify risks.
- Lead incident response teams during active breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including NIST, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
- Produce detailed security reports and present findings to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or GRC roles.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
