Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Lead incident response investigations, orchestrating the containment, eradication, and recovery of security breaches.
- Enforce and update enterprise security policies and procedures to maintain compliance with standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage access controls and conduct security audits to ensure data privacy and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Proven experience with incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
