Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations centers (SOC) for real-time threats, anomalies, and alerts.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations, coordinating with internal teams to mitigate breaches.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and maintain documentation regarding security policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security measures into the DevSecOps pipeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are required.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
