Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations for security breaches.
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced network security architectures and firewalls.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems in real-time.
- Ensure strict compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Proven experience in risk management and compliance auditing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to relocate to Miami, Florida (Relocation assistance provided).
