Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain robust incident response plans and playbooks to ensure business continuity during cyber events.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design secure architectures for new applications and systems.
- Provide security training and awareness to employees to reduce human error and phishing risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT security operations.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
