Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events through SIEM platforms to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and coordinate incident response activities.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Valid CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CCNA Security certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight) and log analysis.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
