We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite team in Columbus, Ohio. As part of our security operations center (SOC), you will play a pivotal role in threat detection, incident response, and risk management. You will work closely with IT and management to ensure our cybersecurity posture meets industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
- Enforce security policies and access controls to protect organizational assets.
- Prepare and present security reports to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure security compliance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm).
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
