Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Lead incident response activities for security breaches and data exfiltration attempts.
- Enforce organizational security policies and ensure compliance with NIST and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to harden network infrastructure and endpoints.
- Provide security training and awareness to staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required.
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and Windows/Linux environments.
- Experience with Firewalls (Cisco Palo Alto), IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Protection.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
