Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform forensic analysis on compromised systems to root cause security breaches.
- Manage compliance reporting and audits for regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or SOC analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or CompTIA Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
