Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat hunting and incident response for enterprise networks
- Develop and implement security monitoring solutions using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Document security procedures and create executive-level threat reports
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness across the organization
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations with hands-on incident response
- Expertise in SIEM implementation, IDS/IPS tuning, and threat intelligence
- Certifications required: CISSP or CISM; preferred: OSCP, CEH, or GCIH
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization security
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
