Responsibilities
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Monitor SIEM platforms for real-time threat detection and analysis
- Develop and implement robust security controls and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security postures
- Prepare detailed security reports and executive summaries for stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Valid U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
