Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading systems 24/7 via SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic analysis of trading platform intrusions and data breaches
- Implement zero-trust architecture for financial transaction security
- Develop automated threat detection scripts for options market anomalies
- Coordinate incident response for trading system compromises
- Perform vulnerability assessments on trading APIs and order management systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial systems or trading platforms
- CISSP/CISA certification or equivalent financial security credentials
- Expert knowledge of equity options trading protocols (FIX protocol)
- Advanced proficiency in network security (Firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Experience with SOC operations and threat hunting methodologies
- Ability to work independently during night shift (6PM-6AM EST)
- Strong understanding of FINRA/SEC cybersecurity regulations
