Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents targeting equity options trading systems using SIEM platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on options execution platforms
- Develop security controls for options market data feeds and transactional networks
- Collaborate with quantitative teams to secure algorithmic options trading models
- Implement encryption strategies for sensitive options contract data and PII
- Lead incident response for options market manipulation attempts and insider threats
- Document security procedures for FINRA and SEC compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in financial services or fintech
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or GIAC (GSEC/GCIH preferred)
- Expertise in protecting high-frequency trading systems and options platforms
- Hands-on experience with threat hunting in financial data environments
- Strong understanding of options pricing models and market microstructure
- Proficiency in Python for security automation and threat detection
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) for trading infrastructure
