Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security controls to protect cloud, network, and data infrastructure
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, containment, and forensic analysis
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop security awareness programs and train technical/non-technical stakeholders
- Monitor SIEM platforms and manage EDR/XDR solutions for threat detection
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in DevOps pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required (CISM/GCIH preferred)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR/XDR platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption technologies
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical audiences
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
