Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms against sophisticated cyber threats
- Implement and maintain advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on financial systems
- Develop incident response protocols for trading platform breaches
- Collaborate with trading teams to integrate security into options workflows
- Lead security awareness training for financial operations staff
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services or trading systems
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CISSP required
- Expertise in securing options trading platforms and market data feeds
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of FIX protocol and financial market data standards
- Ability to obtain FINRA Series 7/63 within 90 days
