Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents across enterprise networks during night shifts
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and document incident reports
- Implement intrusion detection/prevention systems and firewall configurations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve security vulnerabilities
- Stay updated on emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Develop incident response playbooks for common attack scenarios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
