Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, including breaches and malware threats, with minimal downtime.
- Manage and configure firewalls, antivirus systems, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure deployment of new applications and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or Security Engineer.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows & Linux).
- Experience with incident response frameworks and forensic analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
