Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the network to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Implement and manage security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure code practices and infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed reports on security posture and incident analysis for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) and SOC processes.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Excellent analytical thinking and ability to work under pressure during security breaches.
