Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure and client systems.
- Respond to security incidents, manage incident response workflows, and perform forensic analysis to reduce downtime.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) across the organization.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
