Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, events, and incidents to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure system integrity.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPNs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices and infrastructure.
- Perform forensic analysis on security breaches and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Active CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
