Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and deploy secure solutions.
- Manage incident response plans and lead post-incident reviews to improve resilience.
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats and security technologies to proactively defend the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or threat hunting.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency with security tools including Splunk, FireEye, or similar SIEM/EDR platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
