Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) for anomalies and potential threats in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct thorough incident response investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews to identify security gaps.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to architect and implement secure cloud infrastructure.
- Execute regular security audits to ensure adherence to NIST, ISO, and HIPAA standards.
- Stay current on emerging threats and vulnerability trends to proactively enhance our defense posture.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm) and threat intelligence.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for scripting and security automation.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance or higher.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting to executive stakeholders.
