Apex Security Solutions is a leading firm in the Atlanta area, dedicated to protecting enterprise infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite threat intelligence team. In this role, you will play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive data, leading incident response efforts, and fortifying our clients' security posture in a dynamic digital landscape.

What You Will Do:
- Monitor security operations centers (SOC) for alerts and anomalies using SIEM tools.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and coordinate the response to security breaches.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and junior staff on security best practices.
- Stay current with the latest threat intelligence and emerging cyber risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security roles.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Proficiency with security tools (e.g., Splunk, FireEye, Palo Alto, Snort).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
