Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to detect potential intrusions in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensic analysis and containment of security breaches.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and strengthen network architecture.
- Produce detailed security reports and recommendations for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; or equivalent years of experience.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and respond to emergencies 24/7.
