Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Lead threat hunting initiatives using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk assessments
- Stay current with emerging threats and regulatory requirements (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles with hands-on incident response experience
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (GCIH/GCIPE preferred)
- Expertise in network security, firewalls (Palo Alto/Fortinet), and endpoint protection
- Proficient in scripting (Python/Bash) for automation tasks
- Strong understanding of cloud security (AWS/Azure) architectures
- Experience with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK) and malware analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
