Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response procedures including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies aligned with NIST and ISO frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Document security incidents and provide executive-level reporting
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to security awareness programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security operations or threat analysis
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols and cloud security architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
