Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security controls to protect against evolving cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Monitor SIEM alerts and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Develop incident response plans and lead breach investigations
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive leadership
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Expertise in network security protocols (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Proven incident response handling with NIST framework
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
