Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols across cloud/on-prem infrastructures
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop security automation using Python and SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Present executive-level threat briefings and security roadmap updates
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Proficient in SIEM implementation and threat hunting methodologies
- Experience with security automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex threat data
- Excellent written/verbal communication for stakeholder reporting
