Responsibilities
- Monitor and protect equity options trading platforms against cyber threats 24/7 during weekend shifts
- Implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems for financial data networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on trading infrastructure
- Collaborate with global security teams to mitigate emerging threats in real-time
- Develop incident response protocols specifically for weekend shift cyber emergencies
- Manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems for financial data
- Document security incidents and remediation actions for compliance reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial services cybersecurity or trading platform security
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with equity options trading systems or financial market protocols
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks and financial industry regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure during off-peak trading hours
