Responsibilities
- Lead 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and incident response
- Develop advanced threat detection models using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Conduct forensic investigations and root cause analysis of security breaches
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in DevOps pipelines
- Create and maintain compliance frameworks for NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security automation workflows
- Present threat intelligence to executive leadership quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC/CERT experience
- Expertise in SIEM implementation (Splunk/SolarWinds) and threat hunting
- Certifications: CISSP, GIAC, or OSCP required
- Proficiency in scripting (Python/PowerShell) and automation tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Demonstrated ability to lead incident response teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
