Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols across cloud/on-prem networks
- Lead incident response for security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using Kali Linux/Qualys
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/Ansible for operational efficiency
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct monthly security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security metrics dashboards for stakeholder reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in NIST frameworks and compliance standards (HIPAA/ISO 27001)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) and Linux/Windows environments
- Experience with AWS/Azure security services and container security
- Proven ability to lead incident response teams under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
