Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment and configuration.
- Perform security audits and compliance checks (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Investigate security incidents, root cause analysis, and post-incident reporting.
- Train employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in SIEM tools like Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a direct hire capacity.
