Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks for enterprise networks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Mentor junior analysts through threat intelligence analysis training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or OSCP required
- Expertise in Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, and AWS/Azure security
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework implementation
- Strong Python/PowerShell scripting for automation
- Proven incident response documentation and reporting
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (relocation assistance provided)
