Responsibilities
- Lead incident response investigations and mitigate security breaches across cloud and on-premise environments
- Implement and manage SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and compliance frameworks
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SOAR tools to prioritize threats
- Provide mentorship to junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification (required)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and endpoint protection platforms
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR compliance frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to communicate complex security issues to stakeholders
- Valid U.S. work authorization and ability to pass federal background check
