Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats and anomalies.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to fortify our network perimeter.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO).
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular audits of access controls and user permissions.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent advanced certification (e.g., CEH, CISM).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and threat hunting.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
