Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM, EDR, and threat intelligence platforms
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across cloud and hybrid environments
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, policies, and playbooks
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in SOC or incident response roles
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat modeling
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and security automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex security data
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR)
