As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will play a pivotal role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams to mitigate breaches and restore service.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
- Perform regular security audits and compliance reporting to ensure regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5+ years of experience in a SOC or security operations center environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly desired.
- Deep understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
