Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and AlienVault SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response for security breaches including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and risk reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Stay current with emerging threats and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification (required)
- Expertise in threat intelligence and incident response
- Strong knowledge of network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
