Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with legal and compliance teams during security breaches.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and log analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
